Project 365/98 New Colour

Hello Ladies, i hope you have all had a lovely week and are enjoying the weekend. How fab as the weather been all week? I definitely wasn't expecting that at the end of the end of March, certainly not in the UK that's for sure. Typically it's changed just in time for the weekend and it's back to the doom and gloom, boo.

I changed my hair colour a few weeks ago. I've gone back to my natural dark blonde and have just had a few lighter blonde highlights throughout. I much prefer this colour, so much more natural plus i was sick and tired of going to the salon every 4-6 weeks to get my highlights/roots redone. There's a photograph above of my new colour.

I haven't been upto too much, mainly work, but we are in the process of setting the date for our wedding so that will be revealed shortly. At the moment i'm doing a little wedding planning and researching a few things. Does anyone know of a West Midlands wedding photographer? A company or person who do printed wedding invitations, place cards, table plans etc? Infact it could be anything wedding related! All recommendations will be appreciated.

If so leave me a comment below or get in touch at my e-mail address in the sidebar, would love to check out any recommendations.

Project 365/97 Sponsored Video/NET-A-PORTER

I’ve been browsing and have bookmarked the NET-A-PORTER site for many, many years now. For those of you who don’t know; Net-A-Porter are an international boutique most known for their luxury designer fashion.

Designer clothes, designer shoes, designer bags and designer accessories are amongst all the top designer brands. Alexander Mcqueen, Chloe, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Marc Jacobs and Mulberry are a small selection of the designers listed on the site, amongst many, many others.

As the majority of us know, buying designer key pieces often come with the designers price tag but quite often, usually at the end of each season, NET-A-PORTER hosts a fabulous sale, with quite a large percentage off the luxury and quality key pieces which is always worth checking out.

Have any of you visited or bought from the NET-A-PORTER website? I would love to know your thoughts.

* Pink Blazer: H&M
* Shoe Boots

Project 365/95 Sponsored Video/Renault Twingo TV Ad Leap Year Proposal

I really enjoyed watching the video above, as the title states the video is based on a Leap Year proposal which in the old tradition it brings luck for a woman to propose to a man. In association with Renault Twingo, they invited the loved up couple Jane and Tim to a hotel in London where Jane could ask Tim those 4 special words. What they didn't know is that they were in line to win a brand new car, the New Renault Twingo:

The New Renault Twingo is here, and it's the small city car that's full of colour. It's fun, with numerous personalisation options available. It's safe, with speed limiter, cruise control and four airbags as standard. And it has great fuel economy too, giving 55.4 miles per gallon (mpg) and just 119 g/km of CO2 from the 1.2 16V 75 engine.

It showed the build up to the proposal and the propasal itself, which i won't give away in a spoiler.... I'll let you watch the video to see for yourselves...... but what i can reveal is that they did win the car, yay.

Project 365/94 Favourites of the Month (Photo Heavy)

* Aussie Products: Dual Personailty Volume & Gloss Hairspray, Dual Personality Volume & Gloss Conditoning Mousse, Dual Personality Texturising & Conditioning Gel Spray, Hair Pins. I love all of these products and used the following for a Aussie Virtual Styling class where i got showed how to create the perfect straight hair, i'm happy to say that all he products worked a treat, very impressed.

* Dr Bronner's Products: Magic Naked Organic Balm and Organic Lip Balm. I love the Lip Balm, so moisturising and it leaves my lips feeling baby soft and super smooth, definitely a product which i shall always keep in my handbag. The balm is equally as fab and can be used for dry/chapped skin or even tattoos!! Well worth a try.

* L'Oreal Products: Nude Magique BB Cream, Lumi Magique Light Infusing Foundation, Pink Lipstick, French Riveria Nail Polish, Parsian Crystal Nail Polish, Blush. I love each and every one of these products and L'Oreal has definitely always been one of my favourite brands, their products never fail to disappoint and they're something which i always come back to time and time again. I shall review each of these products individually over the next few weeks or so. I love the French Riveria polish, so, so pretty and looks fabulous on my nails.

* Cath Kidston Bird Box Bag, £22: I needed a new second bag to carry my things into work, the bag is surprisingly big and fits various books in, my pencil case, umbrella and even my lunch. I love the cute bird and floral print, the bag is wipe clean and waterproof and of amazing quality.

* Zara Flat Jelly Sandals, £49.99: I fell in love with these as soon as i saw them on the Zara website, i knew i had to have them. So pretty, they will go with most of my clothing and will be ideal for Spring/Summer.

Project 365/93 Harrods Glossy Box

I received my Harrods Glossy Box on Saturday so i thought i would share with you all what i got in my box and my thoughts.

My box contained:

* Narciso Rodriguez - For Her Eau De Parfum: 1ml sample
* Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily Moisture Bath & Shower: 50ml sample
* YSL - Forever Youth Liberator Serum: 5ml sample
* Burberry Beauty - Miniature Lip Mist Copper: 0.8g sample
* Clarins - Extra Firming Body Cream: 30ml sample

First things first, the perfume sample i don't really see as a luxury sample, afterall i could get that free from the majority of department stores. As always that is a disappointment.

The other products i am pleasantly pleased with, not all are to my taste but that's the gamble you take when you subscribe to any beauty box. As always i love the packaging and the boxes make great storage for all my other beauty related products.

For the products i don't use i'm thinking of putting them all to one side then doing my own little glossy box giveways every few months or so, but instead of five samples the winner will receive 8-12 or so sample products.

For those of you who are subscribed to Glossy Box what are your thoughts on this months box? Did you receive the same products as mine or were yours different?

Project 365/92 Wedding Planning

Hello everyone, i hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

As the majority of you know i got engaged a few weeks back so i've been kept busy by wedding planning and looking at ideas for our wedding. I have two wedding planning books to write in (one was a gift so they're identical, i will keep one as a rough copy and the other as the master copy), wedding notes books etc so i'm very well prepared, i guess that's the PA in me making a re-appearance away from the office. We haven't set a date as yet, but we're hoping for it to be sometime next year, maybe August/September time. We're starting to look at venues in the next few weeks or so, so will be setting the date in around 2-3 months.

I thought i'd share with you a few of my wedding ideas, above are the things i'd like or want something similar for my wedding. I want a traditional wedding with a few modern day twists. I like neutral colours, romantic and sweet.

Pictures above:

* Wedding Bouquet
* Moorhall
* Sweetie Bar Plaque
* Bridesmaid Flowers
* Sweetie Bar

As i said above nothing is set yet and this is me just putting a few ideas together so i'm sure i'll be doing a lot of wedding related posts over the next upcoming months, exciting!!

Project 365/91 Sponsored Video/Twinings

Following the success of Twinings animated advert "Sea" that racked up 1.4 million hits on YouTube, the tea maker is plannings it's launch of the new above video on the 4th of March 2012.

I really enjoyed watching this video, it tells the story of a woman overcoming obstacles, symbolised by a hill, to reach a place of perspective. The video features the moving and contemporary cover of Fleetwood Mac's Go Your Own Way by American folk-rock starlet, Lissie, which will be available to download on iTunes from the 19th of February 2012.

For those of you who haven't heard of Twinnings, here's a little information:

When it comes to tea, Twinings is a little different from everybody else.  The way Twinings buys and blends is unique; they choose from more origins than anyone else and have a master blender dedicated to each of these locations. It is said that seven is a lucky number, for Twinings it’s the number of times the master blenders taste each batch to make sure that the quality from its exotic origin reaches your cup.

Just as Thomas Twining in 1706 was astute enough to recognise potential in tea when he opened up the first Twinings shop on the Strand, Twinings today is at the forefront of the tea trade, driving innovation and quality around the world.

Twinings is synonymous with high quality, great tasting blends including popular favourites such as English Breakfast and Earl Grey tea but also for its innovative flavours such as Cranberry and Sanguinello Orange, Rose Garden and Camomile and Spice Apple.  From its fruit and herbal tea infusions to its aromatic teas, Twinings is encouraging a whole new generation of consumers to enjoy a range of unique blends.

Watch the video as i would love to hear all of your thoughts.I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
