Project 365/35 Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash

I've been using the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash for around a month or so now and i must admit that i'm impressed.

I normally use Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish but i wanted a cheaper facial wash too to alternate the two between every few days or so. I bought the wash from Superdrug for £4.59 (although i've just checked out the website and it's now on offer for £3.09).

This leaves my skin feeling super clean, fresh and removes every trace of my make-up. Afterwards my skin feels silky smooth and really soft to the touch.

It also claims to help eliminate spots and blackheads, which is a huge plus point in my book. I haven't been using the wash long enough to notice a real difference with blackheads/spots as yet but as soon as any changes occur then i shall keep you updated.

Project 365/32 Etsy Sideways Cross Necklace

Look what arrived for me this morning, how cute does it look? I love it.

I bought the 14K Gold Filled Sideways Cross Necklace from Etsy, which was handcrafted by Theresa Mink. I paid approximately £29 for the necklace and that was including postage and packaging, a real bargain considering it was shipped from the United States. Delivery was speedy too and it only took 7 days to arrive.

Project 365/30 Ben & Jerry's Phish Food

I love Ice Cream and Ben & Jerry's Phish Food is definitely one of my favourites. It's a Chocolate Ice Cream with Marshmellow, Caramel and Chocolatey Shaped Fish, yum!

It sounds a little bit sickly eh? But as the saying goes a little goes a long way and you don't need to eat too much of it to get that chocolate/ice cream fix.

I bought it from Tesco a few days back where it was half price. Does any one else like Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream? If so which one is your favourite?

Project 365/25 Benefit Brows a-go-go Palette

How cute is this little palette? It's the Benefit Brows a-go-go brow and eyebrow shaping kit palette which contains everything you need for your eyebrows; Brows Zing Powder Light and Dark, Brows Zing Wax, Smokin Liner, Eye Bright, Brow Highlighter Powder, Mini Tweezers and a Hard Angle/Talent Brush.

The palette comes with a small instruction booklet so you know exactly where to apply the different products.

I bought the Palette through Wowcher for £10 which then enabled me to buy the palette from the Get Gorgeous website. It's a fantastic price as it normally retails at £30. I paid an extra £1.99 for postage and packaging.

Project 365/24 Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

I recently received the Liz Earle Sheer Skin tint and as i've tested it quite a few times now i thought i'd share with you my thoughts on the product.

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint is a new colour product from Liz Earle and is due to be launched next month.

Here's what Liz Earle, Co-Founder of Liz Earle has to say about the Sheer Skin Tint:

'We have formulated a unique, high performance beauty must-have that delivers great results on all skin types. Sheer Skin Tint is our first step into effortless, easy to wear colour. Its a skin thing!'

I opted for the lightest shade which is Bare as i have quite pale skin and this compliments it perfectly. For review purposes i tested out the product on the back of my hand as this gives the exact same effect as it did on my face, using my hand i could picture the product better.

I really like the packaging, beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and the Sheer Skin Tint comes packaged in a dark blue cardboard box with the Liz Earle logo at the front. The product itself is in a squeezy tube which is a dark blue shimmering pearl.

As you can see from my picture above the product as the same rich and creamy consistency like a foundation, although once applied to the skin it glides effortlessly and blends beautifully.

I love the result, it makes my skin look naturally dewy, even and radiant. As i don't wear foundation this is the perfect product for me, it feels light upon my skin and gives the perfect sheer coverage.

It also contains mineral UV protection SPF15 so you can ensure that your skin will be well protected.

The Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint is available to purchase from September 15th 2011, it's priced at £21.00 for 40ml and is available in 3 shades; Bare, Beige and Beach. To support Liz Earle's "Progress not Perfection" environmental values and their "Reduce, Re-use, Recycle" campaign, when customers order Sheer Skin Tint by mail, Liz Earle are providing samples of all three shades with each first purchase. This is to help customers ensure they select the right shade, first time - before they open their full size product, which will also help Liz Earle avoid unnecessary landfill of good unused product.

To hear about the launch of Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint you can sign up your details on the Liz Earle website.

Project 365/23 Glamoriser

I was sent the Glamoriser by Diva Styling to review. The Glamoriser is a straightener, a curling tong and a curling wand all rolled into one, how brilliant eh, it's great not to have to use seperate appliances when the tool in front of me can create so many different looks.

The tool is very simple to use and as a adjustable temperature range from 160-230 degrees and a special low temperature of 110 degrees so is suitable for all different hair types. As my hair is quite thick i always use the higher degree setting as i find this sets my hair in place and achieves the look in which i'm aiming for.

You can use the same techniques in which you would use with straighteners to curl the hair but i find this gives much better results than a standard pair of straigheners due to the all-round heated surface on the Glamoriser. You can create loose curls, tight curls, voluminous curls and can even lock the tool to be used as a wand to create a different technique of curls or waves.

There are so many different looks you can create with the Glamoriser that the list is endless, my advice would be to let loose and get creative and experiment with lots of different styles, i was really pleased with my results and best of all is that it only took a few minutes to create. As you can see from my hair above i straightened it a little and chose looser waves towards the end of my hair with a little hair flicked out on my layers, something a little funky.

The Glamoriser is available from Amazon and is priced at £99.99.

Project 365/21 Small Haul

1) Topshop Purple Floral Blouse with Exposed Zip at the back
2) Warehouse White Blouse
3) H&M Red Bow Ballet Pumps
4) New Look Floral Top

I was quite impressed with H&M's delivery, my items (i ordered a few basics too) arrived in less than a week. I know some people have waited a shocking 4-6 weeks or so for their online orders to arrive so when mine turned up this morning i was pleasantly surprised, let's hope it continues that way eh.

Project 365/20 VO5 Give Me Moisture

I bought the VO5 Give me moisture Shampoo and Conditioner a few weeks back from Tesco where they were on special offer at £3.99 for the two bottles.

I've used these quite a few times since and seriously WOW! My hair feels and looks extremely healthy. It's so soft to the touch, silky, smooth and really manageable. I'm definitely going to re-purchase these again and again and again....

Project 365/18 Spa Weekend

I went to a Hotel Spa for the weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. I stayed over Saturday and Sunday with my friend Sam and we had such a relaxing, fun break away.

The Hotel/Spa is a family run business called Fairlawns in Aldridge in the West Midlands. It's clean, very tidy, spacious, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, i cannot fault it. I can't wait to go back again :).

I'll be posting more pictures in the next few days or so, so keep your eyes peeled.

Project 365/17 Weekly Reads

Every Tuesday without fail i always buy Closer and New Magazine. I admit to have been quite a magazine hoarder in my time and i easily bought 8 magazines each month, eek. The above two have everything i need; celebrities, beauty, fashion, real life stories and much, much more, bliss. Talking about celebrities, have you seen on the cover of New magazine that Amy Childs from The only way is Essex is leaving the show? Shuuuuuttt uuuuppp ;).

What are your monthly favourite magazines?

Project 365/16 Falsifeye Mascara

Falsifeye Mascara as definitely became one of my favourite eye products. The mascara makes my lashes luciously long, jet black, non clumpy and gives that extra special wow factor.

It's a new mascara from 17 and can be purchased from Boots for £6.49. It's one of the best mascaras i've used in a long time and for me it definitely compares to that of a higher end brand mascara and trust me i've tried a few. As you can see from my image above the brush is quite large with soft bristles, it's very easy to apply and builds great volume, perfect.
