Product: Urban Decay Naked Palette
From: Debenhams
Price: £27.50
I'm a huge fan of Urban Decay eye shadows, they're so long lasting and highly pigmented which makes it one of my top make-up brands out there, especially for eye shadows, personally in my opinion even beating the likes of MAC which are well known to be one of the top beauty brands.
I've bought quite a few of the Urban Decay Palettes so when I heard months before about the new Naked Palette which contains neutral eye shadows, my preferred choice of shades, I was eagerly awaiting it's arrival.
Once the release date finally arrived, I tried to buy the product online but to no avail, literally every online store that had stocked the Naked Palette had sold out within hours, boo. Being the impatient person that i am, i couldn't wait for the re-stock so headed to the Bullring the very next day and purchased the well stocked palette in-store at Debenhams.
The Palette is a sleek rectangular shape with a brown flocked material covering which makes it that more luxurious and soft to the touch. It as gold foiled lettering on top of the Palette spelling out NAKED in large upper case letters then in smaller upper case letters spells out URBAN DECAY beneath it, the Palette also as a magnetic shut closure.
The palette contains the following 12 eye shadow shades:
* Virgin
* Sin
* Naked
* Sidecar
* Buck
* Half Baked
* Smog
* Darkhorse
* Toasted
* Hustle
* Creep
* Gunmetal
Some of the shades are Matte, Satin, Shimmer to Fine Glitter, all of the shades are neutral colours which are highly pigmented and have excellent blend-ability.
The Palette also includes a double end 24/7 Urban Decay eye pencil, one end a black pencil and the other end a brown pencil. The pencils are very smooth and creamy, easy to apply and very longlasting on the waterline.
The Palette also contains a small bottle of the Urban Decay Primer Potion which is a liquid base to apply on your eye lids under your eye shadows, this stops the eye shadow creasing or fading throughout the day. I've used this and it's absolutely fantastic, a must try if you haven't tried it out before.
The palette is small enough to fit inside your handbag so great for on the go application, it also as a large mirror inside the lid of the palette so you can apply your make up there and then, great for any make-up lovers out there.
The Naked Palette is definitely my favourite Palette, I use this one the most regularly, infact daily, with the choice of shades you can easily create looks for both day and evening wear, an instant transformation.
This is definitely the best £27.50 i've ever spent on make-up, a 10/10 rating for me.
