Hello everyone, I’ve used the Soap and Glory Pore Facial Peel quite a few times now so thought I’d do a review for you all.

Product: Soap & Glory The Fab Pore 15 Minute Facial Peel
Size: 50ml
Price: £5.88
Purchased from: Boots, Website:

What the product claims to do: NEW Soap & Glory The Fab Pore 15 Minute Facial Peel is ideal for greasy, spot prone or problem skin, or for a strategic attack on a misbehaving T-Zone.

The exclusive PORESHRINK-R-COMPLEX in Soap & Glory The Fab Pore 15 Minute Facial Peel contains….

· FOMES OFFICINALIS EXTRACT: A mushroom extract to tighten pores.
· SALICYLIC ACID: which loosens up the dead cells that contribute to pore clogging.
· KAOLIN: That’s “cosmetic” for clay. It sops up extra oil on your skin and smoothes your skins surface.
· VITAMINS E & C: Antioxidants. Just because you’re oily, doesn’t mean you’re not aging.

My view: I bought the Soap & Glory Pore Facial Peel after reading good reviews on the product. I love facial masks and tend to use one at least a few times a week (normally Lush’s Mask of Magnamity which as been a favourite for years) as my skin can become quite greasy on occasions and I suffer with blocked pores so applying a mask seems to control this and keep it at bay, all in all my skin is pretty clear. I’ve tried other Soap & Glory products in the past so I knew that before I even tried this that it would suit and wouldn’t irritate my skin. I love the packaging on their products, so much more appealing.

I applied a small amount of the thick cream (grape size dollop) and rubbed it into my dry face. I applied it all over, concentrating mainly on my T-Zone (forehead, nose and chin), gently massaging into the skin until I could see that the green beads which the mask contains had dissolved. I leave the mask on for at least 15 minutes for a deep cleansing facial, although you can leave it on for 5 minutes for a quick refresher. The mask as a pleasant smell and feels soothing on the face. Once finished rinse off well with water.

Immediately after using the mask my face felt really soft, more clean and refreshed. My skin had a nice glow to it and it made my skin tone seem more even. I’m not exactly sure whether it decreased the size of my pores as yet but it definitely made them seem less noticeable and this was only after a couple of uses. I shall definitely continue using this product, I’ll aim to use it at least twice a week, it’s even replaced my trusty Lush Mask of Magnamity, result!!

I've finally got round to taking some pictures of me wearing two of the dresses which i mentioned in my previous posts. A few people asked me to picture them on as sometimes they can look different than to what's pictured on the hangers. I'll probably team them with leggings, a long length cardigan and cute scarf with either ballet pumps/knee slouchy boots or my uggs. Please excuse the "concealed" faces, trust me you don't want to be looking at my gormless expressions ;).
